When Bradford-based Mansys moved to new offices at Hope Park Business Centre in December 2014, managing director Sam Sambhi knew how important the workspace would prove to the future success of this growing business…
Mansys is a Bradford-based IT services company, providing outsourced technological support to clients throughout the North of England. With a rapidly growing team, the organisation moved to new offices at Hope Park Business Centre, in December 2014.
The move was not only intended to pave the way for future expansion. Mansys’ managing director Sam Sambhi also acknowledged that a modern, professional and engaging environment would help to attract and retain high-calibre talent, and deliver the right impression for clients too.
With vast experience in the commercial sector, Leeds-based Fraser Projects attracted Mansys’ attention because of their personal approach to the job at hand.
Initially invited in to create a boardroom facility, the Fraser Projects team digested Sam’s brief for a simple meeting room partition, before suggesting a more eye-catching glassed area with striking branded manifestation. It quickly became clear just how impressive and inviting this office space could be, for a very reasonable investment, and so the team was hired.
Encouraged with Fraser Projects’ friendly, advice-led and non-pushy approach, Sam then sought next-step office furniture advice. Initial internet research had provided some inspiration, but the perfect solution was nowhere to be found.
One of Fraser Projects’ experienced furniture consultants therefore audited the space, before designing and supplying tailor-made soft seating, a boardroom table and secure storage.
The Mansys office now has a real wow factor:
• Energising pink sofas – built in the exact fabric and to the specific style that Sam and his partner wanted – offer relaxing breakout space for both clients and staff.
• The boardroom table with its high-end Santiago cherry finish, sets the right tone for meetings when customers come to visit.
• The slick glass-partitioned boardroom with manifestation provides private meeting space, whilst ensuring the brand takes centre stage.
• Tall, white, double-door units – plus mid-height storage which sits under the office’s window sills – ensure Mansys can maintain a clean and tidy workspace, with crucial equipment, stationery and paperwork never too far away.
Reflecting on the project, Mansys’ managing director Sam Sambhi said: “I am a big believer in the fact that workspace surroundings have a huge influence on employee morale and customer perceptions. It was therefore crucial that when we moved into our new office, we paid attention to the details and got everything right.
“I’m not a designer, so it would have been easy to be railroaded into decisions I felt pressured to make. But the Fraser Projects team instantly put me at ease. They offered some inspiring ideas and advice, but in a friendly manner. I quickly saw just what was possible and, as a result of their work, we’ve completely transformed our office environment into a space to be proud of, without paying over the odds.”
I was incredibly pleased with the service Fraser Projects provided. So many suppliers overlook the importance of communication, but they kept me in the loop at all times. Not only did I have complete peace of mind over the project completion – the quality of their work, inspiring advice and non-pushy approach, mean I would definitely recommend them.
